New Year... New tricks - Baby Yoga!

New Year's Eve and Day at "Grauntie" Sybil's in King's Mountain
We had a lovely New Year's Eve with family this year. We spent the evening with Great Aunt Sybil, Auntie Diana and Uncle David, cousin Denny, honorary Uncle Rob, and friends. We EACH got our own 2+ pound lobster! It was VERY decadent. Dresden stayed up until 12:20am to ring in the New Year. We were honored to be able to stay in Sybil's "kazumba" - or guest house. We thought we might never leave! The peaceful quiet and redwood trees are a special place for our family...

This is Layla Rose... she was born on September 29th, 2011 - We visited with my friend Simone, visiting SF from San Diego, and Dresden met his "girlfriend". He was totally intrigued!
Someday we will totally embarrass them with these photos!

Christmas in Southern California! Dresden's first out-of-town adventure...
We started our trip on 12/22 in the evening... and stopped over at The Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. Daddy thinks this should be an annual stay! What's not to love about this kitschy palace? It kind of looks like we took Dresden to a French brothel!
